MASTERCLASS: How To Design An Enterprise IAM Assessment, Blueprint and Roadmap
Todd Rossin, CEO/Chief Strategist, IDMWORKS

Organizations process and store huge volumes of sensitive information. Inadequate controls in IAM processes and technology can lead to a breach, involuntary exposure of data, and non-compliance issues. But you cannot correct what you don’t know, so the first step is assessment.

We’ll address the most common questions around designing IAM Assessments, Blueprints & Roadmaps – Why Should We Assess? What Should We Assess? and When Should We Reassess?

Wednesday, June 26: CABINET ROOM, 3:00–3:50 pm

MASTERCLASS: How To Design A CIAM Assessment, Blueprint and Roadmap
Todd Rossin, CEO/Chief Strategist, IDMWORKS

Consumer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) allows organizations to utilize identity to deliver seamless and more personalized customer experiences at each touchpoint – from the initial registration to order completion and account management to targeted marketing of complementary products and services. In addition to providing a better customer experience, organizations need a CIAM strategy in place to avoid a breach, involuntary exposure of data, and regulatory non-compliance issues across GDPR, data localization, and data privacy requirements.

Learn exactly what you need to assess and how to assess it to create an executable CIAM roadmap.

Communicate IAM Program Value at the Board Level To Get the Funding You Need
Sean Harris, VP, IDMWORKS

IAM sits square in the center of the business’ ability to execute digital transformation initiatives. So why is IAM still viewed as an infrastructure capability and not the business enabler it truly is? How can we break free of the infrastructure label that makes it a struggle to gain approval and funding for our IAM programs? When we fail to speak the language that aligns our IAM vision and strategy with the goals and objectives driving the business, we fail.

In this session, we’ll walk you through 7 simple, proven steps to transform the way you build the business case and communicate the business value of your IAM strategy. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to:

● Align with, influence, and support your CIO’s strategy and priorities
● Engage powerful stakeholders who will act as champions across the organization
● Speak a language that resonates with C-level executives and the Board
● Map IAM outcomes to Board-level KPIs

IAM to the Power of n: Improve Your IAM Program Effectiveness with an MSP
Paul Bedi,  IDMWORKS

As IAM increasingly becomes a lynchpin in digital transformation initiatives, IAM leaders find themselves in a conundrum. Digital initiatives rely on a mature, scalable IAM organization for success. At the same time, there is increasing pressure to cut operational costs in traditional IT investment areas (like IAM). So how do we build an IAM organization staffed with highly-skilled experts that has the power to contract and expand at will to match business needs (and even understand what those business needs are)?

In this session, we’ll explore how successful IAM leaders are employing a strategy that gives them the best of both worlds: environment and business-specific expertise within their organization + industry knowledge, operational wizardry, and rapid scalability of a managed services partner. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of:
● Different managed services models and how to identify the right model for your business
● Apples to oranges – how to evaluate different managed services partners
● Proven methodology for succeeding in a blended (internal + MSP) model

How Robotic Process Automation Fits Into Your IGA & IAM Program
Todd Rossin, CEO/Chief Strategist, IDMWORKS

Robotic Process Automation (AKA Bots or Robotics) acts as a human would to automate business processes for your organization that are highly repetitive and rule-based in order to speed up processes, eliminate human error and cut costs. As a result, there must be an Identity Governance & Administration methodology defined for these accounts. Bots should be treated as non-human identities, assigned with least privilege appropriate access, rotating passwords and credential management. Additionally, bots may be running those very same processes for your organization in the future.

Designing For Cloud Security
Todd Rossin, CEO/Chief Strategist, IDMWORKS

It is simple to say that organizations have an ongoing need to migrate infrastructure, platforms, and applications into the cloud—however, organizations have critical considerations that need to be taken into account before, during, and after making this move.

Successful large scale migrations to the cloud require proper planning and analysis to determine which applications should be moved, the right cloud provider for your organization’s needs, and the best, most valuable pricing model, whether you’re considering public, private, or hybrid cloud.

We will present a plan of action for moving services to the cloud and securing them once they’re there—as well as what works, what doesn’t, and how to leverage the power of cloud identity and cloud access based services in the process.
