IAM Case Study: Large Global Medical Device Manufacturer
The Challenge
This large medical device manufacturer had selected a partner and product, and developed a new consumer-facing portal, but was having challenges getting it completed. Multiple times they had to delay their launch, which coincided with some product launches and was causing business challenges.
The Solution
IDMWORKS’ custom development team engaged with the customer to review their current custom portal and integration with Okta. Upon the completion of the review, IDMWORKS gave them actionable recommendations to complete their portal and integration with Okta. Additionally, IDMWORKS identified optimizations on migrating off their existing consumer platform, Salesforce, to get them back on track and ensure success of the deployment.
The Results
This medical device manufacturer chose IDMWORKS to pick up their portal development and integration with Okta. This resulted in a successful Go-Live. As a follow up, the customer chose IDMWORKS Managed Support services to provide ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and support for their Consumer IAM environment. Since initial launch, they have chosen IDMWORKS to build out internationalization (EU) of their platform along with multiple enhancements.
