The Challenge
This customer has a large Software-as-a-Service footprint that was built internally and through a number of acquisitions.  Given the broad environment and application footprint, they initially developed a central login service in-house to try to consolidate logins across the multiple platforms.  This led to numerous security, compliance, and support issues with their customers.
The Solution

IDMWORKS engaged with the provider to perform a Consumer IAM Assessment, Blueprint, and Roadmap to help identify the current usage and challenges.  This involved meeting with all the application teams, documenting integrations with the existing login platform, and documenting a proposed architecture and roadmap to implement it.  This was used to engage with possible vendors recommended by IDMWORKS to support their modernization effort.

The Results
This provider performed an extensive vendor evaluation based on IDMWORKS recommended vendors and implementation approach.  They selected their vendor partner and are working to implement the proposed architecture.  This will enable them to provide identity services to their external and internal customers in a cloud native, scalable CIAM service. Removing the challenges and friction in their environment is anticipated to grow their current footprint by 50% over the next 2-3 years.
